Drove to Raymond, WA and resumed my ride to Mexico with a bicycle
that shifts well. The ride from Raymond to 6 miles north of the
Astoria bridge was wonderful. Nice wide shoulders, great scenery
and the weather was perfect.
I stopped in a State Park to check out their services. Met two
bicyclists that are riding to Mexico from Vancouver,BC. We exchanged
information on road conditions. Good places to camp and other
information.
Finished mt eide of 43 miles and drove to an RV Park in Chinook, WA
located on the Longview Peninsula. A clean campground with charming
owners. She told me to mak sure that nothing edible was left outside
becue the black bear population that frequent their
RV Park would take it away in a heart beat.
