Progress Memo   Started sixteen feet south of Old Faithful. Crossed the Continental Divide two times today. Rode from West Thumb out to West Yellowstone. Challenging route with no shoulders. large RVs and a moderate amount of hills. Took an hour to ride ten miles. Twelve elk honored me with their presence while grazing close by the road. Continued out West Yellowstone riding north on Hwy 191 and 287, turning west on 287 to Ennis, Mt. There was a misleading alternate route which Sue took and drove forty miles out of the way. A pleasant store and RV Park Manager, Tim, provided some nice history while I anxiously attempted to let Sue know where I was with very sporadic cell service and dropped off messages. We're pleased that connecting at the end of the daily rides have usually been right on target.
