Progress Memo		Began today's ride five miles south of Star Valley on Hwy 89. The first four tenths of a mile was a flat surface. The next three and three tenths miles was a seven percent uphill grade. An "interesting" way to start a ride. Star Valley is breath taking. The valley floor is surrounded by beautiful mountains. The Indians named the valley "Heap" for many animals and birds to hunt. Star Valley is a major migratory area. Enjoyed this leg of the ride very much.
