Progress Memo		Rode from Mapleton north on Hwy 89 to mile post 370 on State Street. After riding 85 miles on Hwy 89, a surprise, Hwy 89 dropped off the face of the earth. Followed the detour sign as indicated and came upon a "Road Closed" sign. Thanks to a Waste Management Driver I learned this sign was for another street. Oh well! After a maze of turns and various road signs following east frontage road of I 15 came to State Street otherwise known as Hwy 89. Go figure! Peter and Robert of CBS Affiliate Channel 2 Salt Lake City interviewed and taped the ride north of the maze on Hwy 89. It will be aired on Wednesday July 13, 2005 five o'clock news. This section of Hwy 89 otherwise State Street was a typical high traffic business area. Sue will be pleased when this section is completed.
